Wyoming Statutes
Under Wyo. Stat. § 1-21-1208, your landlord must return your deposit within 30 days of the end of your tenancy, or within 15 days after you provide a forwarding address if that is later. If the landlord claims property damage, an additional 30 days may apply with a written itemized list.
Wyoming does not use a 2× or 3× multiplier. A landlord who wrongfully withholds your deposit is liable for:
So a landlord who wrongfully keeps your deposit owes it back in full, plus your costs. Most landlords return it quickly once they realize you know the law.
Note: Outdated sources sometimes claim a bad-faith multiplier — Wyoming’s statute provides the return of your full deposit plus court costs, with no 2× or 3×. A landlord may keep a disclosed nonrefundable portion; Wyoming sets no deposit cap.
Every letter follows the structure courts expect — your facts, the statute, a specific demand, and a deadline. Here's the skeleton; the generator fills the brackets from your answers and computes Wyoming's deadlines under § 1-21-1208.

An owner who unreasonably fails to comply is liable for the full deposit plus court costs under § 1-21-1208(c); Wyoming uses no multiplier. A two-way fee provision means an owner who prevails against an unreasonable renter may recover costs.
